What is omega 3?
Omega 3 is a group of essential fatty acids. They are called essential as our body cannot generate these from scatch. Omega 3s are important structural componants of the cell walls and hence play important role in functioning of our body. There are 3 omega 3 fatty acids ALA, EPA and DHA.
Is Goflaxo suitable for vegetarians and vegans?
Yes, absolutely. Goflaxo is 100% plant-based. The oil is extracted from flaxseed and the capsule shell is made from vegetable-based softgel material (Not gelatin). There are no animal-derived ingredients of any kind in Goflaxo.
What is the difference between Goflaxo and fish oil?
Fish oil contains the long-chain Omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA, while Goflaxo contains ALA (Alpha-Linolenic Acid). Our body needs all the three.
